Level 1

Quest NPC: Lyriam Kaelean
Lyriam wants you to obtain a Robe of the Initiate. You can get one from Initiate Firebringer.

Level 2

Quest NPC: Professor Blacklake
Talk to Spiritmaster Elinos, who sends you to Coachman Thirtreel.

Level 3

Quest NPC: Professor Blacklake
Blacklake wants you to get him two rat furs. Head out of town, kill rats, and return.

Level 4

Quest NPC: Ghelwin Lightweaver
Ghelwin will make you a staff. He needs you to bring him the following ingredients:

  • Strip of Leather — Purchase from Merchant Grener
  • Bough of Wood — Purchase from Lylora the Bowyer
  • *Two Cracked Snake Fangs

Level 5

Quest NPC: Lyriam Kaelean
Talk to Lyriam. She sends you to kill Hatebone Thieves, who spawn in the hills south of town. Kill them, loot Elddar Seeds, and return.

Level 7

Quest NPC: Lyriam Kaelean

  1. Talk to Lyriam. She sends you to Werlib Quackook, who is straight back from the entrance.
  2. Werlib sends you to talk to Zidgar (spelling uncertain) in Kara Village. He has an air elemental next to him.
  3. Zidgar sends you to kill a wasp directly north of him. Kill it, loot the eye, return to Zidgar, then return to Lyriam.

Level 10

Quest NPC: Lyriam Kaelean

  1. Talk to Lyriam. She sends you to Fibble Gearcharmen, located in Kara Village on the right side of the town.
  2. Fibble sends you to kill three orc thieves south of Kara Village. Kill them, loot the device, and return to Fibble.
  3. Fibble sends you to Gligbin Gearcharmer in Klik'Anon, located after the bridge and guard tower on the right on a wall. He needs 197 tunar.
  4. Gligbin sends you to kill a Hatebone Witchdoctor in a cave near Fayspire. Kill it, loot resin, return to Gligbin, then return to Fibble.
  5. Fibble sends you back to Lyriam.

Level 13

Quest NPC: Lyriam Kaelean

  1. Talk to Lyriam, who sends you to Siltha in the small elf town north of Tethelin.
  2. Siltha sends you to kill Royal Guard Wasps for four wings. The wasp nest is near Tethelin.
  3. Siltha sends you to kill an Orc Gatewatcher, found in Thedruk Cave just inside and to the right. Kill it, loot the spyglass, return to Siltha.
  4. Siltha sends you to kill Vitsh Sah, whose tomb is north of Thedruk Cave. Kill him, loot the skull, return to Siltha. Vitsh Sah has two skeletal guards and may require multiple kills for the drop.

Level 15

Quest NPC: Lyriam Kaelean

  1. Talk to Lyriam. She sends you to Overseer Evief, who is on a barge northeast of Fayspire.
  2. Overseer Evief sends you to Diren Village to talk with Dorrun Hammerfist. Diren Village is west of Moradhim.
  3. Dorrun sends you to kill a bear called Trapmaw (CONs darkblue cons db), located south of Diren Village along the small river behind the village. Kill it, loot, return to Dorrun, then return to Overseer Evief.
  4. Overseer Evief sends you to Freeport to talk with Hardlin. Travel east from Fayspire past Kara Village → Klick’Anon → Rouge Clockworks → shoreline → then south past Neriak, Nektulos, Bobble-by-Water, Hodstock, and Temby to Freeport.
  5. Hardlin sends you to kill a Nasahir Sandcaster, located south in Northern Ro. Follow the road to the bandit camp on the east side behind hills. Kill it, loot, return.
  6. Overseer Evief sends you to kill Pirate Mason, located east of Fayspire in Rouge Clockworks on the shore. Circle around the back of the camp (go west around it). Mason is standing alone by a large rock. Kill him, loot, return to Evief.

Level 20

Quest NPC: Lyriam Kaelean

  1. Talk to Lyriam, who sends you to Yiprew Yuprew in Kara Village. (You may want to bind in Kara.) Yiprew is next to a well.
  2. Yiprew sends you to kill Thailav'yal (CONs yellow cons yellow), a dark elf necromancer north of Fayspires. He hides in a tomb under old spires. He has the Necromancer's Handbook. Go to Fayspire and head north across the lake. As you see the spires being erected, look for the two tall mountain peaks. Head to the left peak and follow it into a valley of undead. The crypt is at the end. Thailav'yal has 4 undead guards (2 dark blue, 2 light blue, 1 green Decaying Guardian). Kill him, loot, return to Yiprew.
  3. Yiprew sends you to Snafitzer, in Snafitzer's House (SW).
  4. Snafitzer sends you to Pete in the village of Chiasta. Chiasta is east of Moradhim in the Shon-To Monastery region through a mountain passage. Pete is under the pavilion. You need 525 tunar. Return to Snafitzer, then to Yiprew.
  5. Yiprew sends you to kill Crumbling Bones (corpse) (CONs yellow cons yellow) in Collonridge Cemetery. Inside the fortress in West Collonridge Cemetery you'll find them. Kill, loot what your log requires, return to Yiprew.
  6. Yiprew sends you to kill a Maundering Soul (cons 20) in Crest of the Duelists, east of Collonridge Cemetery. On the plateau, near a tree at the edge, the soul spawns. Kill several if needed, loot, return to Yiprew.
  7. Return to Lyriam Kaelean for your final reward.

Lyriam gives you a choice:

  • Option 1: Spell Burning Clash (high direct damage, low aggro) and the Deep Flame Staff
  • Option 2: Spell Mental Focus (greatly increases max power) and the Deep Flame Wand
