Speak to Rathei Slaerin, standing next to Corious. To prove your worth, you must bring Rathei two damaged dragonfly wings. Go outside the walls of Freeport and farm fireflies/sparkflies until you obtain 2 wings; return to Rathei.

To continue your apprenticeship, you must wear the black robe of the order. Rathei will enchant a robe for you, but you must gather the following materials:
- Plain Robe — Purchase from Merchant Yulia (outside the Academy of Science)
- Silk Cord — Purchase from Merchant Yesam (first room off the coach in a building of merchants)
- Sliver of Snake Meat — Drops from snakes outside the walls of Freeport; farm until obtained
Return the items to Rathei.

Speak to Rathei. The roads are plagued by highwaymen. Hunt them down and return the stolen goods. Exit by the Blacksmith (north), follow the road, then head right to a grassy hill with a druid stone. Kill the highwaymen, loot the stolen goods, and return to Rathei.

@7). Loot her idol and return to Corious.

Corious sends you to Hodstock north of Freeport to infiltrate the Novandear gang. Kill Charlik Novandear.
Note: Follow the riverbank north to a broken bridge. Wait until night in Tunari for Novandear to appear. Weak bandits around the ramps con light blue/blue @lvl 10; other family members con yellow. Kill until Charlik appears.
Loot his Warm Heart and return to Corious.
Purchase Lantern Oil from Merchant Landi (NE of the bank) for 296 tunar, then return to Crimsonhand.

Deliver a bag of coins to Agent Wilkenson at the docks. Take the note from him and deliver it to Duminven in Saerk's Tower.
Note: Exit north gate, follow road west to Kithicor Forest, then to Saerk's Tower. Use Highpass Trade Route or alternate route via pickclaw side past Bastable village.
At Saerk's Tower, deliver the note to Duminven. He instructs you to find the thief Eliene in Bastable. Follow her, kill her and her contact, then return to Duminven.

Corious sends you to Weynia, a tailor south of Freeport on an island near the lighthouse, to craft new leggings. Collect:
- Pristine Sidewinder Snake Skin — Travel west into the hills, slay sidewinders (CON LB/DB @15) and collect skin
- Pristine Sand Skipper Carapace — Travel along the beach south, farm sand skippers (CON LB-DB @15)
- Bundle of Pristine Silk — Travel far west past the Deathfist camp to the ruins. Kill Gargantula (CON Yellow @15) to loot silk
- Vulture Feathers — Purchase from Dteven Savis for 273 tunar, near Freeport west gate
Return items to Tailor Weynia, then give the Poacher's Leggings to Corious.

Quest NPC: Corious Slaerin
Corious has discovered the mark you found is a fake. Find the real mark and deliver it to William Nothard. Start by speaking to Wilkenson at the docks.
The Troll: Speak to Madame Telina NE of Wilkenson. The mark is held by a Troll named Roj Eir Sew' Eil (CON DB @20). Travel southwest to locate and kill him. Loot the Mark of Louoth and return to Telina.
The Pirates: Telina sends you south to Muniel's Tea Garden. Use a coach if available. Travel carefully through high-level zones. On an island off the coast (NE of coach), slay skeleton pirates (CON LB-Yellow @20), search sand-covered chests for the Chiseled Great Axe of Doom, and return to Telina.
Waterlogged Treasure Chest: Telina mentions a valley she saw in a vision. Travel south from FP coach through the desert to a gypsy village. Locate Razor Back Fang, climb the fang mountains, and fall into the water to access the obelisk. Loot the Etched Helmet of Greatness and return to Telina.
She gives you a note to pass to Corious.
Reward: 2,814,929 XP
Choose between:
- Blood Gale & Sickle — Drains enemy health, restores 125 HP to your group
- Power Gale & Totem — Drains enemy power, restores 150 Power to your group
