Starting NPC: Gadenon Flamefist
Speak with Gadenon Flamefist, the Guildmaster. Go to the guilding outside and seek out Merchant Daria and get an Eye of Thorst from her. Report back to Gadenon Flamefist.

Level 2
Starting NPC: Gadenon Flamefist
Gadenon sends you to Spiritmaster Jall, outside to the east. Now go to Coachman Billfer to sign the ledger.
Note: Go to the Midroad and head south. Go through the Marketplace and out through the east exit. Continue east down this road and you will see the stables to the north.
Return to Gadenon Flamefist.
Reward: 2,200 XP
Level 3
Starting NPC: Corion Helsear
Report to Corion Helsear, outside the building, near the back on the northwest side. Your test for Corion is to slay bats (outside the city walls) and return to him two ruined bat wings.
Reward: 6,900 XP and receive the Arcane Binding scroll
Level 4
Starting NPC: Corion Helsear
Corion will make you a new robe, but you must earn it first. Visit Polly Truvel, the order's seamstress, upstairs in the shop to purchase a plain robe. Before you can buy a robe from Polly, she requires a yard of cloth and a spool of common thread. Purchase them from Tailor Nissa, in the armourer's shop near the entrance to town.
Give the cloth, thread, and ten tunar to Polly Truvel. Kill green snakes to acquire a poison sac. Return the poison sac and plain robe to Corion Helsear.
Reward: 17,000 XP and receive the Red Robe
Level 5
Starting NPC: Corion Helsear
Corion tells you that your final task in becoming an apprentice is to go out and kill some Darkpaw Gnolls and return with their Muddy Gnoll Paws.
Note: Darkpaw gnolls are northeast from Qeynos. Follow the road north as it curves. When you see the guardtowers, turn right to see a gnoll camp. Darkpaw gnolls con yellow/red.
Reward: 36,500 XP and receive the Shock of Frost scroll
Level 7
Starting NPC: Gadenon Flamefist
Speak with Gadenon Flamefist. You are sent east to Hagley [stay on the Eastern road out of Qeynos and just keep going east]. There have been reports of a dark portal that has opened up there. Small groups of goblins have been emerging from it. Take the potion from Gadenon and deliver it to Tarnina. She is usually at the top of the guardtower near town.
Speak to Tarnina and take the magnesium. Travel east into the mountains, between the second and third peak, to find the dark portal. It only spawns at night in Tunaria. The goblins near the portal con blue to white @ level 7. Clear the area around the portal. Target the portal, throw in the magnesium and the potion. Receive a dark pebble after the portal closes. Return to Tarnina, then to Gadenon Flamefist.
Reward: 157,474 XP and receive the Burning Flare scroll and the Arcane Apprentice's boots
Level 10
Starting NPC: Gadenon Flamefist
Speak with Gadenon Flamefist. Travel south to the village along the coast to speak with Master Nuzaon Sivrendal. Speak with Master Nuzaon and take a letter to the foreman over the hill gathering lumber for Storm's Pass. Speak with Foreman Gerald, slay a gnoll thief (CONs yellow 
@10), and return the evidence. Take the lumber and battle plans to Master Nuzaon, then the plans to Gadenon Flamefist. Slay a gnoll leader and loot a darkpaw sargeant (CONs red 
@10) and their fangs.
Reward: 556,753 XP and receive the Small Stiletto
Level 13
Starting NPC: Gadenon Flamefist
Speak with Gadenon Flamefist. Travel to Surefall Glade to help the villagers. Speak with Innkeeper Martha, then Spiritmaster Terent (NE of Martha). Purchase materials from an old woman in the forest:
- 2 silks from Black Widows
- 1 brittle whisker from a young/grey wolf
Return the items to the old woman for string and bring it back to Spiritmaster Terent.
Reward: 550,698 XP and receive the Elemental Guard scroll
Level 15
Starting NPC: Gadenon Flamefist
Report to Corion Helsear. Go east to Hagley Village and speak with Brother Pendle. Travel to the Hagley Tomb, defeat Minia the Twisted, collect her remains, return to Pendle for a note, then deliver the remains to Grave Digger Joe in Melton. Return to Corion Helsear.
Reward: 883,791 XP and receive the Shocking Gaze scroll and the Wizard's Leggings
Level 20
Starting NPC: Gadenon Flamefist
- Talk to Gadenon Flamefist, who sends you to Captain Leighthron at Bayle Mansion in Qeynos city.
- Captain Leighthron sends you to Lieutenant Windstalker at Qeynos Prison. Kill rats (CONs green
to LB) until a key drops. Return key to Windstalker, then back to Leighthron. - Speak with Advisor Amichevole in Bayle Mansion. He sends you to a new Dark Portal on an island near Stormhaven. Enter the portal.
- The portal sends you to a gypsy camp north of Forkwatch. Speak with Delin Duamher. Travel to Darkwood Goblin Lair in Alsop's Wall (C), fight the goblin summoner (CONs red @20), and return its rune to Amichevole, then back to Gadenon Flamefist.
Reward: 2,814,929 XP and choose between:
- Blazing Clash: bewilders and injures your enemy
- Mental Focus: increases how much power you have.
